Evening Book Discussion - Settled in the Wild: Notes from the Edge of Town

Book cover

More than in other places, Maine people live close to nature - some by accident, others by design. Susan Hand Shetterly’s collection of lyrical short essays is therefore a book intended for all of us. Settled in the Wild takes us into the woods and along the shorelines, mudflats, and paths of rural Maine, where Shetterly has lived and written about nature for the past thirty years.
