Little Free Library® (LFL) is an international initiative that promotes literacy and community-building through the installation and stewardship of tiny “libraries” in neighborhoods and public spaces. Since last summer, we’ve shared heartwarming stories about the Scarborough Little Free Libraries popping up around our community. Find out how you can be part of the excitement!
Emily Read, Library Trustee President and organizer of the Scarborough Little Free Libraries project will review the steps you’ll need to consider before moving forward. She’ll be joined by Chris Rayner, a local Eagle Scout candidate who built and installed four Little Free Libraries around town. Chris will offer great tips on how to design and build your own little library. This event is free to attend; no registration needed.
