Offered the second Friday of the Month! Sarah is running monthly D&D games for both new and experienced players in Grades 6 and up. The next session will be December 14 with the theme "How to DM a oneshot". Join fellow character adventurers to gain powers, strength, and skills. Together you’ll explore how to take characters from their first adventures to legendary heroes...and maybe pit characters one-on-one against each other.

Minecraft Miner Day

Minecraft Miner Day, Scarborough Public Library

Please Note: The December event will be on December 16! Offered every 4th Sunday of the month! Explore the Library’s Minecraft world created by our volunteer “tech teens!” We’ll begin with a session just for beginners at 1:00 PM, then everyone can join in starting at 2:00 PM. If you’ve created your own Minecraft world, bring it along to show others on our big screen! Computers will be available, or you can bring your own laptop.

Kids Movie Double Feature

Our Teen Advisory Board (TAB) has planned a fun way to start getting into “vacation mode” for students in Grades 4 thru 8. They’ve gone back in the film vault to select two favorite movies for a double feature: Nightmare Before Christmas and Princess Bride. Nightmare Before Christmas will be shown at 3:15pm, and Princess Bride will play at 6:00pm. Come to one...or both!
