Minecraft Miner Day

Explore the Library’s Minecraft world created by our volunteer “tech teens!.” We’ll begin with a session just for beginners at 1:00 PM, then everyone can join in starting at 2:00 PM. If you’ve created your own Minecraft world, bring it along to show others on our big screen! Computers will be available, or you can bring your own laptop. No sign up is needed—just drop in! Please remember that children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

La La Land Movie

Due to the anticipated interest in this film, there will be a second showing on Monday, May 8 at 1:30. Mia is an aspiring actress rushing around Los Angeles to audition for the big break that will finally let her quit her day job; Sebastian plays jazz piano at dive bars while waiting to be discovered. These two fall head-over-heels in love with each other but when their careers start to take off, their new found success puts their romance to the test.

May Pajamarama, grandmother theme, Books and Crafts

Do you have a grandmother who lives nearby? Invite her to join you for May's Pajamarama when the theme will be "Grandmothers." Janet will read Nana in the City by Lauren Castillo, Last Stop on Market Street by Matt De La Pena, What! Cried Granny by Kate Lum, and All the Places to Love by Patricia MacLachlan. For our craft we will be making a special picture of your grandmother. Registration is required.

Star Wars Event

In a Library far, far away (it’s really our Library) members of the Jedi Order (also known as our Teen Advisory Board) planned a special mission (a fun Star Wars themed event) for future members of the Jedi Order (kiddos in Grades 4 thru 8). Alright...back to our galaxy!
