Scarborough Teen Writers Group

The Scarborough Teen Writers Group (STWG) for grades 9-12 is offered in collaboration with Portland Writers Group Maine (PWGM). Gatherings are held the third Monday of the month from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm in October, November, December, March, and May, and the second Monday in April. Each gathering will introduce different ways to inspire your work—from prompts and storyboards, to tools like Twine, an online platform for telling interactive, nonlinear stories.

For Grades 9 thru 12. First date is October 21. The Scarborough Teen Writers Group for high school teens returns the third Monday of the month with a new format! Renee Cote with Portland Writers Group Maine will introduce different ways to inspire your work—from prompts and storyboards, to online tools like Twine, an onliine tool for telling interactive, nonlinear stories. The last gathering in May will offer a chance for writers to share their work with friends and family.
