She will be joined by Emmie and her owner Mindy Beller to offer children who are reluctant readers with a powerful way to improve their reading skills: reading to the dogs in a private, cozy nook created just for them. To register your child for a 15 minute session, call 883-4723 opt. 3, or email kids@scarboroughlibrary.org

    • New Schedule: Every Fourth Sunday of the month starting January 28, 2018! Explore the Library’s Minecraft world created by our volunteer “tech teens!.” We’ll begin with a session just for beginners at 1:00 PM, then everyone can join in starting at 2:00 PM. If you’ve created your own Minecraft world, bring it along to show others on our big screen! Computers will be available, or you can bring your own laptop. No sign up is needed—just drop in! Please remember that children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
