Join us as we welcome Kelly Pietrzak, volunteer youth educator, from Scarborough Land Trust. Together we will be exploring hibernation. In this fun and interactive program, we will learn about different types of hibernators and which Maine animals are TRUE hibernators (hint: there are only 3). Children are encouraged to bring along a stuffed animal that can be found in Maine. We will discuss how real animals manage in our winter environment. Weather permitting, we will be outside for story time so please dress warmly and bring something to sit on.
