Kelly Pietrzak has led four previous popular story times co-hosted by the Library and the SLT: Frog Story Time (spring), Monarch Butterfly Story Time (summer), & Apple Story Time (early fall). She loves to work with children: from coaching youth sports, to leading youth nature hikes, to homeschooling her own two children. Kelly previously ran a nature education business for preschool aged children and has a Master’s in Education teaching mostly middle school math but also at the elementary and college level. She loves to camp, tend her ever expanding gardens, and trail run with the family dog. This is the third year Kelly has led walks for children with Scarborough Land Trust, and her second year serving on SLT’s Communication, Education, and Outreach Committee. This is the first year Kelly has led Library story times.
