As a lifelong reader, libraries hold a special place in my heart, and none moreso than the Scarborough Public Library. As a Scarborough local, I volunteered here at the library throughout my middle and high school years, and now I've come full circle and found myself working here again! I love working with patrons to ensure their questions are answered and needs are met, but nothing is better to me than finding somebody their new favorite book or find the answer to whatever question has been on their mind.
Along with being a lifelong reader, I am also a lifelong nerd (which came first, the chicken or the egg?), and it shows through my go-to genres of science fiction, fantasy, speculative fiction, and beyond! Graphic novels, true crime case studies, comic books, and encyclopedias alike all have a home on my shelf, I'll read it all. My philosophy is as long as what you're reading makes you happy, then I am happy to help you find your next favorite story.
