Can I donate my old books to the library?

Due to space limitations, the Friends of the Scarborough Public Library can no longer accept donations of older books on a regular basis. However, they do accept books on occasion, at specific days and times. Book donations will be accepted  on September 14 from 4:30-6:30pm, September 16 from 9-11am, and September 19 from 4:30-6:30pm. There will be a book sale in the Library Meeting Room from 9am to 5pm on Saturday, September 23, 2023.

They have created a list of recommended locations for donating or selling used books. Each group’s needs may change, so they recommend contacting them for more information.
