Can I donate my old books to the library?

Due to space limitations, the Friends of the Scarborough Public Library can no longer accept donations of older books. They have created a list of recommended locations for donating or selling used books. Each group’s needs may change, so they recommend contacting them for more information.

When a book has overstayed its usefulness, the best option may be to let it become something new. Books can be recycled as a last resort.
