On behalf of the Board, staff, and volunteers, I thank you for your outpouring of support for the Library Expansion and our effort to put a bond question on the ballot in November. Your heartfelt messages to the Town Council are important to the effort and we thank you for stepping up to the plate. The Council will have a Public Hearing and final vote on September 7, 7:00PM, to authorize the bond to be posted on the November ballot. Your comments continue to be important.
We have had a wonderful summer reconnecting with our community. We have enjoyed our conversations at the Farmer’s Market, SummerFest, and our own special outdoor events. The Summer Reading Program has been celebrating the magic of reading as kids and adults stretch and polish their literacy skills.
We are YOUR public library. We hope you’ll continue to explore our services. September is national “Library Card Sign-up” month. If you haven’t used your card recently, take this opportunity to update it. A Library Card should be on every family’s back-to-school supply list. It will be the item with the best value – in fact, priceless!
