Spring is one of the best times of year to graft two plants together. The practice occurred to me as I noted the programs and activities listed in this issue of FootNotes. Our Library is a great root stock to join with other organizations to make a strong and resilient community. As you scan the offerings, note how often we are working collaboratively to bring information, recreation, and entertainment to you.
There are two opportunities for you to help nurture the Library. We hope you’ll share your memories of our library during April and May. We’d like to record recollections, impressions, tributes, life-changing or silly moments related to the Scarborough Public Library. We also look forward to seeing you at Nonesuch River Brewing for a charity night on April 26. Please save that date.
If you are still pondering that first sentence and don’t know what grafting is, it’s a great excuse to stop in and see us to learn more. We have plenty of resources to sow your imagination.
Warmly,
Nancy E. Crowell
Library Director
