Solar Panels

Rooftop solar panels generating electricity for the library.

Rooftop solar panels allow the library to generate clean, renewable electricity right where it is used, which lowers energy bills and reduces dependence on fossil fuels. By producing power from sunlight, panels help cut greenhouse‑gas emissions and improve air quality, while also increasing energy independence and resilience. Rooftop solar makes use of existing roof-space without new land development, and supports a more sustainable, future‑focused energy system for the community.
