Messages from the Director
We appreciate the opportunity to answer your questions about the plans for the Library Expansion. We have a dedicated website which provides updated FAQs and information about the planning that has gone into the development of the proposal.
October 11. That date has been highlighted on my calendar for months. That is the first day of absentee and early voting for the November 8 election. The Library is proud to be before voters with a bond request for an expansion that will determine the capabilities of your library to serve you for the next 30 years.
One of the Library's missions is to provide community connections. Under the banner, "ScarboroughHelps.org" the Library has joined several other community nonprofits, including Project G.R.A.C.E., to host information displays at the Scarborough Farmers Market each Sunday, 9:00 to 1:00, in the municipal building parking lot. Scarborough is the home of many organizations that support our needs and enrich our lives. It is in the spirit of collaboration that we share the market space and enjoy meeting members of our community. Look for us on Sundays until the market closes at the end of October.
